Our Boxes

Yes. All of our boxes are thoughtfully curated and ready made, meaning you get a beautifully put-together gift without the stress of choosing individual items.

Absolutely. Add a personal touch to your order by writing your own gift message. We’ll handwrite it onto one of our postcards and include it with your order. Want something extra special? Upgrade to one of our premium cards.

At the moment, we do not offer a build-your-own option. We’ve handpicked products that work perfectly together to create a memorable gifting experience.

Send to me to hand over in person

Your order will be shipped directly to you, allowing you to personally present the gift to the recipient. This option is ideal if you’d like to add your own touch or deliver it at a special moment.

Send directly to the recipient

Your order will be shipped straight to the recipient’s address. This is a convenient choice if you’d like the gift to arrive as a surprise or if you’re unable to deliver it yourself.

No, never. We know many orders are sent as gifts, so all boxes arrive without any pricing or billing details inside.

Your Dotty box will be securely packed in an outer shipping box, clearly marked with Fragile and This Way Up labels to help ensure it arrives safely.

Delivery Information

Order Cut-Off Times:

  • Monday to Friday: Order by 1pm for same-day shipping.
  • Orders placed after 1pm on Friday, or over the weekend, will be dispatched on Monday.

Shipping Options:

  • Royal Mail 24 Tracked | ÂŁ5.25 | 1-2 Days Delivery
  • Royal Mail 48 Tracked | ÂŁ4.25 | 2-3 Days Delivery

Delivery estimates are provided as a guide only and cannot be guaranteed.

Please be aware that certain factors beyond our control—such as Royal Mail strikes, Bank Holidays, or seasonal delays (including Christmas)—may impact delivery times.

Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be dispatched the following working day. Please note, Royal Mail does not deliver on Bank Holidays.

Delivery Notifications:

Royal Mail will keep you updated on any delays by text or email. Be sure your shipping address is correct, as missed deliveries or errors can slow things down.

Returns & Refunds

Timeframe

  • You must notify us of any return request within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • All items must be returned to us within 28 days of receipt.

Packaging Requirements

  • Products must be returned in their original packaging and packed securely to prevent damage during transit.

Restocking Fees

  • All orders are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
  • Handwritten cards are non‑refundable, and their cost will be deducted from your refund.

Shipping Costs

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Original shipping charges are non‑refundable.

After 28 Days

  • Refunds cannot be offered if more than 28 days have passed since your purchase.

Proof of Purchase

  • An order confirmation is required to complete your return.

Important

  • Please contact us first at hello@deardotty.co.uk to obtain authorisation and the designated return address before sending any returns.

Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will send you an email confirming receipt. You will then be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit will be issued to your original payment method within 3–5 working days (processing times may vary depending on your bank).

We take great care when preparing your order, but on rare occasions items may be damaged in transit. If this occurs, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order by emailing hello@deardotty.co.uk with clear photographs and a detailed description so that we can arrange a replacement.

Kindly keep hold of any damaged items until the matter has been fully resolved.
